EFI-Solutions is proud to have played a key role in the development of the Rye Lake Ultraviolet (UV) Light Treatment Facility, a cutting-edge solution designed to enhance water safety and public health in Westchester County, New York. As a leader in factory-built water treatment, we engineered and delivered a modular facility that ensures effective disinfection of Rye Lake’s water supply.


Project Overview

Commissioned by the Westchester Joint Water Works (WJWW), the project was developed in response to the detection of cryptosporidium, a microorganism that poses health risks. To address this, EFI-Solutions designed and manufactured a pre-fabricated building equipped with advanced UV disinfection technology.


Strategically located off Lake Street in Harrison, NY, the treatment system integrates seamlessly with existing infrastructure. Our modular approach enabled rapid deployment, minimizing onsite construction while maintaining high-quality standards.


EFI-Solutions' Role

EFI-Solutions oversaw the engineering, fabrication, and delivery of the structure housing the disinfection system. Our turnkey, offsite-built solution reduced disruptions and expedited installation. Designed to complement surrounding architecture, the facility blends functionality with a visually cohesive design while incorporating state-of-the-art treatment technology.
