  • 34.5 MGD with FIVE pumps running.

Prefabricated booster pump station was delivered in five sections, three lower sections and two upper sections. The lower sections house the stirring valves, pumps, air purge system and storage. The upper sections contain a control room and catwalk to service the pump motors. The units were installed on
site under EFI supervision by the site contractor.

This station services water for several large manufacturing plants along the Ohio River. These plants were previously served by a power plant that was required to shut down. The customer’s deadline was hard and fast. EFI manufactured the booster pump station off-site, while site work – caisson and screens were installed, compressing the construction schedule to meet the deadline.
